I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The accommodation was comfortable and well maintained. I would especially like to appreciate the front desk staff—they were extremely polite, helpful, and made the check-in and stay very smooth. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place.

We are traveling for work and this happens to be our 2nd time staying at this hotel. Rooms are large, cozy and clean. Trust me when I say clean. I am extremely picky when it comes to a clean hotel. I could have stayed at 3 other hotels but I asked my boss to reserve another week here. Subbq is super friendly and always welcoming *** An hour later I am editing this review *** We get to our room and realized there wasn't a refrigerator or microwave. We have a KING room and it's next door to the last room we stayed in that has a refrigerator. We go down to ask about a refrigerator and microwave bc thats important being that we are here working thousands of miles from home. The same guy that I called "welcoming" in my initial review saod that our reservation didnt come equipped with those amenities and that we needed to pay him $20.00. Of course we paid him the $20.00 and my husband had to help him move both and hooked up both in the KING room that we are in. I am blown away right now! Being that my husband helped him move these TOP amenities in the room he could have given my husband back his $20.00. Be careful not to review something until the very end of your stay.

The front desk staff and the cleaning and maintenance staff are very kind and efficient. The rooms are clean and they always make sure that we have clean towels, sheets and tissues. The heater, air conditioner, shower, sinks and toilet work great and I like the kitchenet with plenty of room to put necessities. TV and lights work good and nice desk to work on paperwork and calls. Also a closet and doors to put clothes with an ironing board. They even have a working blow dryer. I like the big bed with nice thick blanket and fresh sheets and personally like the drapes and curtains so when you want the room lit up, great. If you would like privacy and the room to be dark the curtains are perfect. They also have washers and dryers, a fitness center, free coffee and breakfast and soda and snack machines in case you run out of anything although they have a fridge and microwave if you want to bring in and prepare your own food and keep your drinks cold. This place is awesome and again I appreciate the friendly staff, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thank you!

The front desk team was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. Check-in was quick, and they made sure all my questions were answered. Great service!

We stayed here while visiting my daughter in Columbia. The rate was great for a weekend basketball game. The location is very close to the campus, but not walkable by any means. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. There is a free breakfast of pastries and drinks. Nice place that doesn’t break the bank.

Airline delays caused us to miss our connecting flight. American Airlines sent us here. Shuttle: A lot of the reviews complain about the shuttle. To me it wasn’t really a problem. I called the hotel to ask about the shuttle when we were waiting and they told me that it was just leaving the hotel so 35-30 min which was about right. I wish the name of tune hotel was easier to see on the shuttle but it really wasn’t bad. When we got there we signed up for the first shuttle of the morning (5am) and had no problem. Sometimes they can accommodate an earlier ride. Also, 4.9 miles from ORD might be the distance “as the crow flies” but driving in s WAY different. It takes 25 minutes each way to and from the airport. Room: perfectly adequate. Nothing special. No lotion, which many hotels provide. Other than that, it was quite comfortable. Cleanliness: Good. It could use an update on the hallway rugs and stuff but face it, it’s not your luxury vacation hotel anyway. Location: sucks. 25 minutes to ORD. There are a couple gas stations with convenience stores there but it’s an ugly neighborhood. That being said, I didn’t notice any outside noise when I was sleeping Service: the front desk person was super quick checking us in. She was pleasant and very nice too. Same with the shuttle driver. No complaints there.
